Education: M.A., San Francisco State University

Dana Clark joined the Language Institute in June 2008. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Furman University in Greenville, SC and taught students with learning disabilities in the public school system in both Atlanta and San Francisco. She later received her master's degree in TESOL from San Francisco State University and taught English for over 10 years in several community colleges in the Bay Area. She also spent a year teaching English in a university in Guanajuato, Mexico. While at the Language Institute, Dana has taught a variety of classes in the IEP, has developed writing, grammar, and IELTS test prep curriculum, and is the faculty sponsor for The One Project, a service club at the LI. In her free time, Dana enjoys riding bikes, improving her Spanish, and planning her next trip.
