Resources for Intensive English Program Students

Coming to a new country to study can be a scary experience. We put together the following information to help you adjust to life at Georgia Tech.

• Pre-Arrival Information - Get ready for your arrival in Atlanta with the pre-arrival information packet. It outlines what you need to bring, how to travel from the airport, where to stay after you arrive, and what to expect the first week.
• Orientation Presentation - Get an overview of the Intensive English Program and some suggestions on how to assimilate to life at Georgia Tech and Atlanta.
  
• Student Handbook - Learn about the Language Institute and Georgia Tech policies that you will need to know while you are here. The handbook also provides information about living in Atlanta.
• Georgia Tech Facilities - Enjoy Georgia Tech facilities such as the Campus Recreation Center, the Library, and Dining Services while you are a Language Institute student.
• Student Activities and Services - Get involved with extracurricular activities such as conversation partners, sporting events, dining with faculty, or dance parties. The Language Institute also offers student services such as academic advising and access to state-of-the-art computer labs.

• T-Square is Georgia Tech’s learning management system. Teachers may use the site to upload student assignments and materials, to facilitate student discussions, or to post grades.
