The Language Institute at Georgia Tech offers you an opportunity to improve your English online and to earn a certificate from wherever you are in the world. Courses are taught by highly qualified Language Institute instructors with advanced degrees. Each course provides you an opportunity to

Accent Reduction
Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Cost: $395
Description: This course is intended to help participants improve their ability to communicate effectively in a variety of business settings, from participation in meetings to one-on-one interactions with customers, colleagues, and supervisors in face-to-face situations and by phone. The focus of the course will be on eliminating pronunciation issues that are interfering with the participants’ ability to communicate their ideas clearly. This online course gives participants the benefits of being in a face-to-face classroom by providing live tutorials with a trained instructor along with self-paced modules and interactive assignments to supplement the recorded lectures. Individualized feedback will be provided throughout the course.

Writing for Business
Level: High Intermediate to Advanced
Cost: $395
Description: This online course is designed to help you develop your writing for the major tasks you do in your daily work. By the end of the course, you will have a much more confident grasp of what is involved in written communication, especially in an American business situation. The class consists of one pre-module and five content modules.  Each content module contains a PowerPoint presentation with an audio lecture, as well as a text script of the presentation and a task designed to help you develop the skills discussed in the lectures.
