Language Institute Refund/Registration Cancellation Policy

General Policies

  • Registrations canceled prior to the beginning of the session are subject to a cancellation fee. (See refund amount below)
  • Refund requests may be submitted during the first two weeks of the session.

To request a refund you must bring the following to the Front Desk:

  • The original receipt of payment
  • The credit or debit card (or number) you used for your payment (if applicable)
  • Your Georgia Tech Buzz Card
  • A completed Refund Request Form (available at front desk)
  • A completed Withdrawal Form (available at front desk)

You will need the following to complete the withdrawal form:

  • Your last day of attendance
  • The reason you are withdrawing
  • Your address and contact information
  • Teacher signatures
  • Director or Associate Director signature

Note: If you are on an F-1 visa, you must depart the United States immediately after you withdraw from the program.

Refund Amounts

Prior to Start of Session 94 percent of tuition; 100 percent of fees
Week 1 87 percent of tuition; 100 percent of fees
Week 2 75 percent of tuition; 100 percent of fees
After Week 2 No refunds
  • If your original payment was made with a credit or debit card, your account will be credited within two to three business days.
  • If your original payment was done by cash or check, your refund will take approximately four to eight weeks to process.
