Important information about admission to the Language Institute...
The minimum age for admission to the Intensive English Program is 18 years. Prospective students who are 17 years old may apply and be accepted by submitting a Guardianship Form proving they have a responsible adult living in the metropolitan-Atlanta area who will be responsible for them.
The minimum English prerequisite is two years of high school English or the equivalent. Applicants without previous formal instruction in English, but with several years' residence in the United States, may qualify for admission.
The Language Institute does not normally require transcripts, diplomas or certificates. In some circumstances, we may request documentation of previous English study to determine if you can be successful in our program.
Please note admission to the Language Institute is not the same as admission to Georgia Institute of Technology’s regular degree programs.

If there is any question, you must pay these fees prior to the application being processed.
